Junk Heap - Not A Wizard Cross Stitch

I swear we're not hoarders! In the Junk Heap, we highlight something on display around the Meldar16 house.

Check out this cool wizard cross stitch! This was an amazing thrift store find, and the jawn came already framed! We immediately popped it on the wall, and have received many compliments over the years at what a cool wizard it is.

That is, until I thought to research and look up exactly where this came from. I always had suspicions that it came from a pre-made pattern and I was right. It's a Santa Claus! As a giant Scrooge, I am not very enthused by this development.

The pattern comes from Heartstrings brand's A Kringle Kalendar monthly series. A different Santa for each month of the year by artist Pat Thode. This one is November, and is not the only one that just looks like a wizard! Do a little internet search on this and see for yourself! A bunch of these just look like cool wizards!

So I might need to hunt down January and August, but even if I do, they'll stay cozy weird wizards in my mind.
